The Young Victorian Theatre Company is Baltimore’s premier musical theatre performing the timeless works of Gilbert & Sullivan.
The Young Victorian Theatre Company began as the Gilman Summer Theater in July 1971. That was when a modest group of Gilman School students staged a production of Gilbert & Sullivan's Iolanthe — thereby and unknowingly — introducing an acclaimed and decades-long fixture to Baltimore's arts community.

Young Victorian Theatre. Every summer, the Young Vic puts on one of Gilbert and Sullivan's comic operas. All are usually very good and sell out before long. This year, the acting and correography are particularly good and the live music [20+ piece orchestra] is right on the mark.
