On the north side of Dueling Peaks, which can easily be reached by gliding from the tower, players will find a Stone Talus about halfway up the mountain.

There are 40 of these bosses spread throughout all of Hyrule. Along with the standard Stone Talus, Link can also encounter the Frost Talus and Igneo Talus, among others.
It's a bit wasteful of arrows, but can be more efficient if you use multishot bows (at this close range all arrows would hit from 3x-5x bows), and you only need to do this about 2-3x. Or find taluses which have the ore on the top of their heads so you can go ham with melee weapons instead :)
