29 Αυγ 2021 · teddit is no more actively maintained! Due to Reddit's API changes, this project is no more actively maintained. Feel free to fork the project if you like, or contribute to other alternative Reddit front-ends, such as Libreddit, which are trying to come up with circumventions.
I prefer Libreddit, as there are multiple instances available. teddit.net works much better than libredd.it for me atleast. I use teddit, as it is short to type. libreddit was unstable for me recently, so teddit it is. I use Slide and it works really well.
5 Δεκ 2020 · Teddit is a web frontend, unlike many others that are available only on mobile devices. You can load the site using any web browser to access Reddit's content. The core difference between Teddit and Reddit is that the former does not track users and that it has no advertising.
1 Ιουν 2023 · Anyone who uses Kagi can add a rule to automatically redirect to their teddit instance or old.reddit [1]. There are also plenty of extensions for almost every browser that redirects reddit, which are easy to fork and update for a custom instance. I added a custom !r bang that uses kagi to search reddit via a lens with that redirect. Works great
