19 Απρ 2020 · You can check in online or using the mobile app starting 24 hours before and up to 45 minutes before departure of the first flight in your itinerary. This applies even if you have a connecting flight that's more than a day away.
Once you get your boarding pass, just scan the barcode on the screen at airport security checkpoints and at the gate during boarding for American flights. It's fast and convenient! How to get your mobile boarding pass: Check in on aa.com and choose 'Email with Mobile Option.'
How it works: Begin check-in online or on the app. Select the number of bags to check and pay if needed. Download your boarding pass or print it at home. Scan your boarding pass at the kiosk for Express Bag Tags. Tag your bags and take them to Bag Drop.
