4 Δεκ 2023 · The second Cat 7 goes into a power line adapter, which I unplugged when I ran the test. The third one goes to a TP Gigabit network switch which has two Cat 7 cables going into my PC and laptop respectively. The switch is also brand new. When I ran speed tests my laptop showed 500mb and my PC 350mb.

19 Νοε 2023 · Recently upgraded to gig1 and was sent a new Hub5 router. Wired I get around 1050 download speed but wifi I get around 500. This is on 5ghz with 160 bandwidth. I have split the 2.4 and 5ghz SSIDs. This is in the same room as the hub5. Can anyone comment on my power levels.

7 Δεκ 2023 · Also, I think 300mbps is acceptable for wifi. 300mbps is not speed it's bandwidth. Speed is measured in milliseconds and Ethernet is always at least 5 times faster than WiFi in terms of speed, so I personally use Ethernet whenever possible. 07-12-2023 22:24 - edited 07-12-2023 22:40.

9 Απρ 2024 · The download and upload speed is working fine on some sites while others are just painfully slow. Both speedtest are done within 5 minutes. One test site is Swish Fibre while the other is Zen Internet. Both located in London. As you can see one is extremely fast while the other is painfully slow.
