If you have more than one feeding site, select the site you want to upgrade in the orange bar dropdown. Click on the cogweel on the right side of the orange bar. Under “Device Commands”, select “Upgrade and restart PiAware”.
7 Νοε 2020 · It’s derived from the Mictronics DB, i update tar1090-db via the aircraft.json i linked. tar1090-db is only updated when you run the tar1090 install/update script. The json file from Mictronics appeared to have data missing when I was parsing it, but the aircraft.csv appeared to have more data.

There are a couple of helper programs (faup1090 to summarize dump1090 output in the form that Flightaware wants, fa-mlat-client to collect raw data from dump1090 for multilateration) and then the main piaware program mostly just handles passing data between the helpers and the FlightAware servers.

Basically the PiAware SD image will not work on the Pi 4, as it needs updating. However, PiAware can be installed successfully using the command line in Raspbian Buster. It was a Raspberry Pi 3 using a FlightAware Pro Stick Plus, connected to an external antenna up on the roof. All was working well. Was receiving about 100 planes at a time, and about 2000-2500 planes per day.
