Understand Google Maps app features. To help you access features faster, Google Maps app has been updated. When you open the Google Maps app, you can find these tabs at the bottom of the Home Screen: Explore : Choose where to go. To see your maps, follow the steps below. Sign in and open Google Maps. Click Saved Maps. To edit a map, choose a map and click Open in My Maps. The reviews and ratings you find in Google Maps were added by other users. Tip: The date on a review is the date it was published. On your computer, open Google Maps. Search for a place. Below the place’s name, you can find a rating. To read reviews, on the right of the rating, click the number of reviews. To read reviews in another language.

Maps owned by you: Other people can’t see or edit your map if it’s in the trash. If you want to let others use the map, make someone else the owner before you delete it. Maps owned by someone else: If you delete someone else's map, it only affects you. Others will still be able to see the map.
