8 Ιουν 2017 · Now I know for a fact that Google uses a single connection and speedtest.net uses multiple connections as I have multi-wan and I can see visually in my router that 3 seperate links get utilised by speedtest.net when performing the speedtest. But with Google it's only 1. On google I get 100Mb/s maximum.
28 Αυγ 2022 · google wifi only test the speed between router/points while SpeedTest goes out to ISP and nearest server. Either way, it's not helping your user experience of slow internet. Google test is from the first device that is cabled to the modem. Ookla may be running on a phone/computer over Wi-Fi.
28 Φεβ 2021 · If your phone uses WiFi 5 and has 1 aerial it's maximum connection speed is 433 Mbps, 2 aerials is twice that. Actual speeds will probably be half of the maximum. Same thing here. Upgraded to 500mbs from 200mbs. Google Home pulls around 500mbs. Only around 200mbs in speedtest, sometimes around 300mbs when I am lucky.
