15 Μαΐ 2023 · The Tesla app has a built in trip planning feature under "location". I think the built in trip planner give a more accurate range estimate because it's pulling data from your car. If you need other features like waypoints and set percentages, go with ABRP. The trip planner in the car is the best.

31 Μαΐ 2016 · The Tesla trip planner won't steer you wrong. Another useful trip planner is A Better Route Planner (ABRP). You can use ABRP on the web or on your phone. ABRP lets you adjust different variables and observe the impact of changes in things such as speed, wind, road conditions and temperature on charging requirements.

We have two common 'long range' drives that we will be doing and I'm a little surprised at the trip planner output. I am curious on the real world experience from people here. Trip 1: 240 miles on all interstates.
17 Ιουν 2019 · The Tesla itself took me all the way to Oxford which would make more sense from a charging curve point of view, it would have been below 20% (and with a warm, 3 hours at 70 MPH Pack) so able to suck a lot of KWhs quickly. In the end I actually YOLOed it (as Tesla Bjorn would say) and got home with 5% left to spare.
4 Οκτ 2022 · De Trip Planner is (nog) te primitief. Stel: je moet HEEN en TERUG naar een verre bestemming, bijvoorbeeld van thuis naar Parijs en terug. De Tesla-Tripplanner geeft je dan enkel de route- en laadinformatie naar je bestemming in Parijs maar niet die terug.
9 Μαρ 2021 · You can access that up under the Safari menu or if you have a Settings wheel in the app's menubar. Maybe unchecking "Enable Content Blockers" for the website will help. So, did a quick comparison and the Tesla planner is showing 54hrs to go from Shelburne to LA, while ABRP is showing 47hrs.
12 Μαρ 2024 · Using the Tesla trip planner it shows 4 charging stops with the longest stretch being 3hr 20 min (215 miles). I also tried A Better Trip Planner and it gave me 4 completely different stopping points, with the longest stretch being 3hr (200 miles).

And when you're on a trip, going from Supercharger to Supercharger, I think it's a good idea to just move that all the way up to 100% during your trip. That would be a waste if you're taking a little longer walking around at a stop or finishing eating ...
