Started in 2013 as a grassroots project by educators for educators, TeachOSM has been a program of OpenStreetMap US since 2016.
This module introduces both the instructor and students to the OpenStreetMap interface. Each of these activities entails the use of a tool, or utility on the OpenStreetMap website.

The activities teach students how to head out in their local neighborhoods and map using paper maps as well as GPS units.
